OUR JOURNEY

Hej!
We are Fien and Kato, two enthusiastic sisters from Leuven who are extremely looking forward to welcoming you to our neighbourhood bar FIKA LAB!
We are creative, cheerful and real chatterboxes. We love to drink coffee and herbal tea and preferably with a good book with it.
Playing a game together or going for a long walk is something we don't mind either.

Our Journey So Far

2018

Erasmus in Kaiserslautern, Germany

For me, Kato, the adventure began in 2018, during my Erasmus in Kaiserslautern, Germany. There I discovered a small coffee bar run by students. That place had something special. It was a haven where people came together, not only to relax, but also to be creative.

2020

Herbalist training

When I, Kato, took my herbalist training in 2020, the idea began to take further shape. I realised that herbs and creativity go together perfectly. The concept of a lab - a place to experiment and unwind - began to become concrete. That was the beginning of FIKA LAB.
